Jurisdictional & Cross-Border Advisory

Design a structure that works in the real world.

A structure that works on papercan still fail at the bank.

Where the tax sits is one question. Whether payments clear, reporting lands and substance holds up is a different one, and it is the one that bites.

Who this is for:

  • International businesses refining group structure
  • Companies operating multi-entity flows (EU/non-EU)
  • Teams needing clearer transaction design and documentation discipline

The structure we design, the group can run.

Most structuring advice ends at the diagram. BLK Advisory Services is the advisory brand of BLK Group, so the model we design can be executed by companies with the same owners: corporate services, books, banking and payment rails, each run by the group entity that holds the relevant permission. And when the structure should include self-developed technology in Cyprus, the design work has a productised version with a number on it.

Own your technology? That version is the 3% structuring offer, set up and run end to end

What we do

  1. Review your current operating model and transaction flows

  2. Identify friction points, inefficiencies, and workflow risks

  3. Propose structure and process improvements (high-level, practical, implementable)

  4. Coordinate with licensed tax/legal partners when formal opinions or filings are required

An operating model that survives contact with your bank and your auditor.

Typical engagement: 2–6 weeks depending on complexity and number of jurisdictions/entities.

Questions

Asked and answered

What does cross-border structuring actually decide?

Where profit is earned, which entity contracts with whom, where people and decisions sit, and what evidence exists for all of it. Those choices determine your tax position, but they also determine whether you can be banked, whether payment providers will accept you, and whether a buyer’s advisers can follow the money later.

Why do structures that look efficient fail?

Because efficiency was the only thing designed for. An entity in a jurisdiction with no operating substance is a familiar refusal at any bank. An ownership chain running through a jurisdiction the correspondent banking network has decided against will be declined regardless of what the tax analysis says. A structure has to work outside the tax return as well as inside it.

Does BLK give tax advice?

No. BLK Advisory Services is not a licensed tax advisory or audit firm. Formal tax positions come from regulated advisers in the relevant jurisdiction, and we work alongside them or introduce them. Our part is the operating design: how the business actually runs across borders, and whether the structure survives contact with a bank and an auditor.

Can you work with our existing advisers?

Usually the better arrangement. Your accountants and lawyers hold the history and the relationships. We are frequently brought in where the question spans several jurisdictions and nobody owns the whole picture.

How long does it take?

Two to six weeks, depending on complexity and the number of jurisdictions and entities involved.
